About Erika




Erika is from small town Fairview, Alberta with only a population of 3,000 people! She grew up on a farm outside of the town and graduated from Fairview High School in 2018. She left the small town life for the big city to take the Radio, Television and Broadcast News program at SAIT and graduates in 2020.

Erika has already had some experience in the broadcasting field. She worked at Peace River Broadcasting (PRB) in the summer of 2019 as the Summer Events Cruiser as well as an 'On-Air Personality' for two stations. Her plans are to return to PRB after school to be in the news department.

Her long time goal is to become a weather woman, but she loves to report on anything police or crime related.

If she could go anywhere in the world it would be Australia, as the weather seems to always be quite nice and you can go swimming in the ocean all year-round!
